Okay… so… it’s raining NOW!! And has been pretty much all day! Didn’t get a drop last night, even though the forecast called for a 50% chance. I guess that means there was a 50% chance it wouldn’t rain at all!

After next Tuesday night and three ballgames, I’m officially retiring from softball. I’ve had my fill. I got nailed in the ankle last night and now I have a huge black and blue bruise and softball tread marks on my swollen leg. It hurts terribly and I can barely walk. I may need a cane! This picture doesn’t do it justice.

We lost the first game 17 to 10, but wouldn’t you know it…. WE WON THE SECOND GAME! And, we won fair and square… no forfeits involved this time! The final score was 10 to 2! I couldn’t believe it!! Rob was there to cheer us on. Maybe if he’d come to all of our games, we would have won more. That’s a 2 in the win column! Too many to count on the loss side. Oh well, we’re having fun and getting some exercise (and getting injured, but I’m such a klutz). Hopefully I’ll recover before next week. We’ll see!!

Connor comes home tomorrow!! I’ve missed him and can’t wait to see him. I’ll post more then… we’re starting a new project here at the house. I’ll put up some before shots later…
