To… Eminence, Missouri!!! Yes, I know, you’re probably wondering… “What’s THERE?”
I’ll get to that in a moment…
First…. we made a pit stop in Mammoth Springs.
That was a neat stop… came away with my only magnet of the trip… if you didn’t already know… I collect magnets. Silly, I know, but it’s an inexpensive way to commemorate a trip.
Now… on to Eminence!
First of all… Rivers Edge Resort is there. We stayed in Jack’s Cabin… it was small, but FANTASTIC!!
It was perfect for us!!
And right next to Jack’s Fork River! It was also within walking distance to town, so we didn’t have to move our vehicle once we got settled.
Due to all the rain recently, the river was really high and fast moving. The normal 6 hour canoeing trip from Bay Creek to Rivers Edge only took us 3 1/2 hours!
We rented our canoe from Windy’s Canoe Rental. They were great and super helpful! I purchased a t-shirt from there!
I HIGHLY recommend visiting Eminence, MO and Rivers Edge Resort!
We’ll kayak next time… should be a BLAST!
