Anyone who knows me well knows that I absolutely love chocolate, in any form, except with nuts.  I can’t stand nuts.   If one could live on chocolate alone, I would be that ONE.

A favorite Thanksgiving and Christmas tradition in my household growing up was Mom’s Hershey Bar Pie.  For the last several years, I’ve taken over the duty of making it.
This year, I thought I would share the super easy recipe.  You’ll need very few ingredients (3 to be exact) and about 10 minutes.

Ingredients:

6 Hershey Chocolate Bars
1 8oz container of Cool Whip

1 Graham Cracker pie shell (either store-bought or homemade)

Directions:
-First, in a large mixing bowl, break up all 6 Hershey Bars.
-Next, put bowl in microwave and heat in 30 second increments until nearly melted, usually only 1 minute.
-There will probably be some unmelted pieces when you remove it from the microwave, but that’s okay.  They’ll eventually melt.
-Immediately start slowly stirring in entire container of Cool Whip.  Caution: Chocolate may stiffen up, but keep stirring!

-Here’s what it should look like after stirring in all the Cool Whip.

-Finally, spoon mixture into prepared Graham Cracker pie shell (ours is store bought).

Slice and enjoy!!!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

Until next time…
