Well, today’s the day… my 36th birthday! I’m now on the downhill slide to 40. WOW!! I guess I really need to start acting like an adult now.
Here’s what Connor picked out for me and purchased himself yesterday in Tulsa…
I already had the “Connor” and pearl charms, I purchased the soccer ball myself and he surprised me with the other two. Isn’t he sweet?? I’ll tell you all about the fabulous store we visited on tomorrow’s “Road Trip to Tulsa” post.
Another good gift idea for me (hee hee)…
I love iron/metal crosses. One day a wall in my house will look like this…
I already have three crosses, but I really need to add to my collection before I can make a feature wall like that. Of my small collection, here is one of my favorites…
It used to hang on our porch right next to our front door. It’s now hanging in an alcove in our entryway. I have two smaller ones that I’ve never figured out what to do with. I came across this idea on Pinterest…
Same idea as the initial frames I posted about yesterday. You could also use scrapbook paper for the background instead of fabric. I just love the 3 dimensional look of it.
Here’s another I found interesting…
I can’t tell if its vinyl or actually painting on the wall. Either way it’s beautiful!
This is a neat idea…
I’ll have to find some more examples of a feature wall using crosses. We’ve been in our new house since mid-September and there are a couple walls that are still blank. I would love to display crosses on one and initial art on another, but it might get too cluttered… we’ll see!!
Tomorrrow… Road Trip to Tulsa!!!
Until next time…
Happy Blogging!
