Are you ready for Christmas?  Decorations all up?  Shopping done?  Presents wrapped?  Meals prepared?
Me?  Of course not… although, I must say I’m a lot further along than in years past.  The decorations are up and the shopping is done.  I do have a few more gifts to wrap.  I don’t typically cook, so that ones a moot point.

If you’re still looking for an inexpensive gift idea, I’m always a big advocate for homemade.  I’ve create a couple homemade gifts and posted instructions on this blog.

To make a sugar facial scrub, click HERE.

Pinterest has quite a few homemade gift ideas “pinned” on their site.  Do you have a bunch of nearly gone candles lying around?  Here’s a super neat idea on how to create new candles by recycling the ones you already have.

Here’s another interesting link I found with a bunch of different food gift options… from Cowgirl Cookies to a S’mores Kit.

And this tutorial looks promising… it shows how to create Silhouette Art, a Photo Clock, and a knotted headband among many, many other things.  Be sure and check out the monogrammed mug (#8)!  That’s one project we’ll be working on at my parents this weekend!

As we get closer to Christmas day we need to remember “the REASON for the SEASON”…

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:11

Merry Christmas everyone!  I hope it is filled with joy and anticipation for what Christ is doing in your lives!

Until next time…
