Well, I guess it’s time for my first 2012 Resolution Update…
As far as cooking goes… I cooked Tuesday night for Rob’s and my anniversary.  It was delicious!  I made this…
I also baked some garlic bread and had salad.  Yummy!!
Now, for the getting in shape part.  I didn’t officially weigh in until yesterday morning.  It sickens me to say, I weighed 183 lbs.  I am 5’10” tall, but good grief!!  This morning, I weighed 181.4 lbs. 
I started training for April’s half-marathon Tuesday night by walking 1.79 miles in 33:41 minutes.  Last night I walked/jogged again, but not as long because I waited for Rob and then Macy nearly got attached by the neighbor’s dog and we had to hurry because we had church.  My goal is to take 30 – 45 minute walks with Macy every afternoon when I get home from work (weather permitting) and then on Saturdays, try to walk at least an hour.  
The marathon is barely 5 months away, I really need to get on the ball.  My first half marathon, back in 2010, went well because I really, really trained for it.  I didn’t train nearly as much last year and I started having hip pains around mile 8.  I want to avoid that at all costs this year.  I’m super excited and looking forward to this race because it’s the first time I’ve done this particular one.  I’m anxious to walk the streets of downtown OKC.  
Tonight, I’m going to church for an exercise class called First Class Physique that is being led by a church member who also happens to be a personal trainer/nutritionist.  It should be fun!
