… or maybe walking fast?

Rob, Connor and I are participating in our very first 5k as a family this weekend…  

This Sunday is OKC’s 2nd Annual Run Lucky 5k… 

The event is a fun fundraiser benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Did you know that leukemia is the number one killer of children under the age of 21.  Every 5 minutes someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer and every 10 minutes, someone loses the battle.  Last year, this event raised more than $38,000 for LLS.  

This weekend’s 5k and fun run will be a blast… participants dress up in their best Irish garb.  Here’s a portion of my outfit…

I’m going all out, aren’t I?  Hee, hee!
