I mentioned on here after our headboard was complete last weekend, that our next project would be cornice boards for our naked bedroom windows… alas… things have changed!
Next, we’re going to do this…
…because this space in our foyer is also naked…
I am going to make some slight modifications to the original design above. I like the idea of twine and clothes pins, but I want a slightly more industrial look. I’m going to use a fine gauge wire and some small metal clips instead, like this…
A fabulous friend of mine and fellow Soccer Mom has access to some great, old window frames. I’m going to venture out with her sometime soon to find one for this project.
I’m excited about this one because I think it will be a great way to display some of my photography that’s just sitting on my computer’s hard drive. I’ve edited several through Instagram and plan to print out 5×5 inch photos to hang on the wire. I also want to put some family photos, as well as seasonal greeting cards. The great thing about this frame is that you can very easily change out the pictures. I love that idea!
