On Sunday, we finished painting our new bench!  I was worried with the color at first.  When it was wet it was fuchsia!  Thankfully, it dried the color I wanted.

The bench was completely dry by Monday afternoon.  We put it on the porch and I added the pillow I found at Lowe’s for just over $10.  I really like it and I’ve sat on it every night this week!

While sitting on the bench Monday night, I noticed a couple toads in the flower bed.  Tuesday, I decided to put out this pot for them.  I still haven’t seen any toads in it, but one was close by the water the other night.

Wednesday, we took a trip to Catoosa, OK to the Big Blue Whale.  It was fun!  Do you see Connor?

Thursday night was Connor’s first soccer practice for the season.  This is his last year to play in the city recreational league.  Next year, he’ll try out for the high school team.  How crazy is that??

Friday was Connor’s first day of 8th grade!  I can’t believe how quickly the last 13 years have flown by!  My little man is growing up too fast!

Saturday (tonight), I cooked this delicious chicken spaghetti recipe.  We’ve had it before and it is one of my favorites.  I’ll post the recipe later tonight.
