Throwback Thursday
This is one of my most favorite picture I have ever taken. It was Christmas Eve 2007. Hundreds of Trumpeter Swans migrate to Magness Lake near Heber Sprongs, Arkansas every year around Thanksgiving. They hang out till around Valentine’s Day. It’s so fun to visit and throw out shelled corn for them to eat. Some do mating rituals, some fight but most just swim around and wait for corn!
If you’re in the Heber Springs are between Thanksgiving and Valentine’s Day, go to Magness Lake and see the swans… They are amazing!
Until next time…
