…and On Tonight’s Plate.
I cooked this tonight for the Hubs and the kiddo… Slow Cooker Bacon Ranch Chicken.  This was really good, however, I think I may have cooked it in the crockpot too long.  It turned out a little bit salty.  I still recommend it, though.

Here are some changes I made to the original ingredients and directions…
1. I used canned chicken instead of fresh, which probably contributed to the added saltiness.
2. I cooked it on low for 5 hours in the crockpot instead of on high for 3-4 hours.
3. I used Plain Greek Yogurt instead of the sour cream.
4. Instead of the egg noodles, I used a mashed potato mix that I had on hand.
If you decide to make this, let me know how it turns out for you!

Throwback Thursday!
Here is 5 year old Connor back on the family farm one fall afternoon.  He and I walked to the very back corner of the property to go “hunting” for the gorgeous fall foliage!  He was decked out in his camo and hunter orange.  We even stumbled on an old fallen tree that had the remains of a huge bees nest inside!  Fortunately, all the bees were gone.  That would not have been fun!
Until next time…
