This is a solemn day in our household. We leave this afternoon to take The Kid to the half-way point to go home with his dad for the summer. We will get to have him back for a few days towards the end of June… he gets to go to Church Camp! I’m so glad he’s going to be able to go! We will miss his birthday, though. He turns 14 on Monday. The joys of divorce (please note heavy sarcasm).
Let’s get to my 5 Favorites from this week to take my mind off all that…
Favorite Fashion:
Playing off last week’s favorite (Click HERE to see it), I’m loving this piece of monogrammed jewelry…
This bracelet is perfect! I love the fact that the chain is doubled, making it stronger. The price is great, too. You can find this bracelet in LovePersonalized’s Etsy Store by clicking HERE. They even have a bull terrier charm that I’m debating getting! Too cute!
Favorite Website:
Pepperplate is the perfect website for cooks.
You can manually enter recipes or import from popular recipe sites on the web. There’s even a “Pepperplate Bookmarklet” you can download to make importing recipes easier! You can categorize all your favorites, create menus, make shopping lists and even scale the recipes to fit your family’s needs. I already have 46 recipes saved on this site… what is truly great, is that there is a Pepperplate app. I can pull up any of my recipes on my phone or ipad and not have to worry about bringing my laptop into the kitchen. (I was not compensated for this favorite or influenced by the makers of Pepperplate in any way…I just really like this website and use it frequently)
Favorite Instagram:
I’m already married, that’s no secret, but I’m still obsessed with wedding dresses. I absolutely adore TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress” and all the network’s other Bride shows that air every Friday. Recently, I’ve begun following one of the designers featured at Kleinfeld’s in New York City…
Pnina Tornai’s dresses are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! Maybe when The Hubs and I renew our vows in a few years (hopefully for our 10 year anniversary), I’ll be able to wear a Pnina… it would have to be one of her less risqué ones, though.
Favorite Pin:
I hate to clean and usually it’s a one woman job (mine), but I think these ideas might make the chores more enjoyable!

Favorite Recipe:
This one from last night… Taco Salad.
Super quick and easy and it’s a family favorite! Click HERE for the recipe.

I planned my wedding 5 years ago…I couldn’t imagine doing it for a living! I loved doing it, but it was way too stressful! Thanks for stopping by!
I’m definitely still obsessed with “Say Yes to the Dress” too!! It really never gets old haha.
I know! I’ve seen some of the episodes at least 3 times…and I’m not ashamed to say that I’ll probably watch them again!
I’ve just started meal planning so am definitely checking out pepperplate- sounds like just what I need!
It’s perfect for meal planning! You decide what to eat each day of the week and it creates a shopping list for you! Too cool! Thanks for commenting!
