I have totally been absent this week. We’ve had a lot going on and I just haven’t felt like posting. Do you ever have those days?
I’m so glad it’s the weekend! The Kid came home from church camp this afternoon and now we’re preparing for a pontoon adventure with our neighbors/best friends tomorrow! I hope I don’t get sunburned!

Favorite Fashion: My 20 year high school reunion is coming up next month and I’m searching for the perfect outfit! I really like the idea of a faux leather top, like this one from Last Call (click the picture to go to the website)…

I think it would look really fashionable with some red pants, which would also be our school colors! Go Lions!
Favorite Book: This one by Damien Echols…
If you’ve never heard of the West Memphis 3 or the Murders at Robin Hood Hills or the Paradise Lost documentaries, I highly encourage you to check any of those out or just go to wm3.org I’ve followed this case from the very beginning back in the mid-90s. I have started a blog post and rewritten it several times, but I’m hesitant to post it…the reason, I have lots of friends in law enforcement in Arkansas that remain convinced that Damien, Jason and Jesse killed the 3 little boys. I, however, have always maintained the opinion that they are innocent. I don’t know if my law enforcement friends read this blog (it’s doubtful), but I don’t necessarily want to start a ruckus. I’ll think about it some more and maybe post it next week. In the meantime… I want to read this one next…
