We are change collectors.  We have a water dispenser bottle that we put our loose change in every night.  Once a year, we bag up the coinage and drop it off at the bank.  Usually it’s around Christmas time.   Last year, we had over $475!  We took these three bags of quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies on Friday afternoon…

They weighed nearly 50 pounds all together!  I’m anxious to see how much we saved!

Friday night, The Hubs made his fabulous homemade pizza…

Lots of cheese and beef summer sausage with a few green peppers thrown in for good measure.  It was so delicious!

I read the devotional book “Jesus Calling” every night and Friday’s entry in particular spoke to me, so I took a picture…

I highly recommend this book for daily inspiration!

Saturday morning, we headed out to our favorite breakfast buffet… Cattleman’s Steakhouse in OKC.  Typically, I get the French Toast, but for some reason this sounded really good…

…and it didn’t disappoint!  Their bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on Texas toast is absolutely delicious!  We’ve eaten here a number of times and we’ve never had something that wasn’t less than perfect!  My favorite is the filet mignon… heavenly!

Our 4 year old bull terrier is absolutely obsessed with the water hose.  He will stand in the back yard and whine at the faucet wanting The Hubs to play “Water Dog” with him.  The Hubs captured this shot yesterday afternoon during the game…

Check out that rainbow!  That poor water… it never had a chance!

Last night, we had planned a cookout…

There’s nothing like a hot fire in the barb-y on a warm Sunday evening!  The Hubs cooked up burgers, hot dogs and I baked some potatoes.  We had a feast!

It was such a great weekend…now we’re on the count-down to VACAY!
