I love short work weeks…and, for once, we have absolutely nothing planned for this weekend! (except for my chiropractic appointment tomorrow morning…I’ll be glad when my back gets straightened out!)

According to my Jorte calendar app on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3, there are only 177 days until the Little Rock Marathon and I’m getting prepared! I have already purchased these sleeves for the pirate themed race…
Now, I’m researching what running shoes to buy. I’m a big Asics fan, so I’m trying to decide between these two options…
To all my running readers out there, which would you choose? I wore the Kayanos last year and they are fantastic. I like the look of the Kinsei, but that price tag is a little (lot) out of my budget. 177 days are going to go by fast! I better start training!

This picture, taken at the US Open reminded me of one of the things I wanted to be when I grew up…a professional tennis player. When I was younger, all I wanted to do was play tennis and someday play in a major tournament (Wimbledon to be specific). I was fortunate enough to play competitively in junior high, but my heart problems prevented me from going on to achieve my dream! Oh well, I still enjoy playing for fun!

Have a great weekend everyone!
I’d go with the Kanyos! If you already know they work for you, no need to spend the extra dollars no matter how drool worthy the Kenseis are (oh but so drool worthy)! I have brooks ravennas so I’m not really any help, though hah! That recipe is going on my must try asap!
I think you’re right about the shoes! The Kayanos are my best bet, although…you’re right, the others are super cool!! The ones I wore for the half – marathon earlier this year are still in good condition…I may just wear them again!
Let me know how you like the pasta! It sure was a hit with my family!
Haha of course Jill Zarin was kicking back VIP-style at the US Open – she cracks me up! That pasta sounds delicious 🙂
Stinks to be her, huh? LOL!!!
Let me know if you try the pasta!
That alfredo looks really good.
Thanks! It was so simple to make and my son loved it so much…he’s already requested that I make it again!
