Easy Scalloped Potatoes

3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
3 cups milk
6 cups potatoes, thinly sliced
Grated parmesan cheese

1. Melt butter in a large pan over medium-low heat
2. Stir in flour until smooth and bubbly
3. Stir in salt and pepper
4. Gradually add milk, stirring until thick and bubbly
5. Add potatoes
6. Cover and simmer for about 8 minutes
7. Transfer potatoes to a greased 8×12 inch baking dish and sprinkle with parmesan
8. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes

This was a perfect side for the Italian Pork Chops…in fact, it is a great option for any meal.
