The first week of February has already come and gone! It’s hard to believe that 2015 is well underway and before we know it, it will be springtime! Hopefully sooner than later… I’m ready for warmer weather!

Here are my favorite things from this week…

Did you know that one in three women will die of heart disease or stroke? Here’s something you may not know about me… I was born with a “special” heart. I had surgery on my 21st birthday to fix it, but I will always have heart issues, including a murmur. Today is Go Red for Women’s “Wear Red Day” and as a survivor, I am participating. I’m not wearing this, but I would be if I’d purchased it in time…

This perfume is so light and airy and, yes, Dreamy! I immediately went to Amazon and purchased this full size bottle, which is beautiful itself. I wear it every day and love it so much! Click HERE to find Marc Jacobs’ Daisy Dream on Amazon.

I absolutely love the look of exposed brick. I’ve mentioned to The Hubs before adding brick behind the headboard in our master bedroom. Here’s what it looks like now…
Bed
I think putting thin bricks between the windows and behind the headboard would make the bed stand out even more. I found this easy tutorial on Pinterest the other day…

What do you think? Would that be too busy? Do you think it would make the room look smaller? I’m still debating and completely open to suggestions.  Click HERE to see this on Pinterest.

I ventured out of my comfort zone a little this week with dinner. Until recently, I’ve never been a fan of Cajun food. But, I made this the other day and it was wonderful!
