My surgery was a success! I’m still recovering in the hospital, but may get to go home today. Thank you do much for your prayers!

The weird looking “leg warmers” alternately inflate with air. They are supposed to prevent blood clots, but I call them my leg masseuse! I want to take the contraption home with me!

There are no words that I can use to express my heartbrokenness over Monday’s tragic storms. Some of my husband’s co-workers braved the weather to take the following pictures from their office building, which was in the direct path. By God’s Grace, the storm turned right, narrowly missing them. Unfortunately, thousands are now without homes, hundreds are injured and some have lost loved ones, including 7 children at Plaza Towers Elementary School.
